Cardi B has decided to pull out of Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic Tour. The new mother announced her decision via social media on Thursday (July 26), revealing the birth of her daughter altered her plans.

“As of today, I’ve decided I won’t be joining Bruno on tour this Fall,” she wrote. “I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically. I also thought that I’d be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing.”

Mars expressed his support for Cardi and her decision in a Twitter post.

“I know the fans will understand,” he wrote. “You are absolutely doing the right thing. I also know we’ll share the stage when the time is right. We love you Cardi and we will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor.”

The R&B/pop powerhouse shared the news on Thursday (February 1) via Twitter. Bruno also mentioned the tour will be his last in the United States.

“What if I told you I wanna do one more U.S tour so we could celebrate 24k Magic together one last time,” Mars wrote. “Annndddd…what if I told u imma bring my lil sis @iamcardib on tour so we can really turn your city upside down! Make this finale a party!!”

Although the specific dates and cities haven’t been revealed yet, Mars added there will be an “Announcement Tomorrow!”

Cardi quickly uploaded Mars’ announcement to Instagram with the caption, “Mhhhhhhmmm That sounds like a great idea @brunomars?”

Mars and Cardi first linked on the “Finesse (Remix),” which yielded over 171 million views on YouTube in just one month.

    1. two beaners on stage. Sad thing is a bunch of white people are the ones buying the tickets to go see this trashy duo.

        1. Wha not?? Youhave to admit Hip Hop is pretty much the most discriminating Genre right now. Look at all the anti semetic, anti white or other racist comments here or on any other Hip Hop forum. Hip Hop used to be so bright and colorful, now its just bitter and closed minded

          1. No we’ve never liked white people since the beginning. If you got bars we’ll let you pass. That’s how it is. Everything in our culture is disorganized and makeshift, so when white people take it away or hop on the wave, we get upset because we already had everything else taken. History proves that. Hip hop never showed love for white people unless they were innovators like EM, Paul wall, hell even Riff Raff.

    2. They trying to attach that chick to everything is jzúst a desprate attempt to keep her in the Game. But her 15 Minutes of fame are soon over

      1. 15 mins is more like Young M.A, I don’t like Cardi but she is in her 2nd year of being the top female rapper. Her songs and skills are not good but she is a likeable to the general audience unlike Nicki who has over played that cocky role for too long. I don’t think she will have a run like nicki who was the hottest female rapper for a good 6 year strecth. I would say Cardi got at least 2-3 years left. I don’t really like her and I think she is annoying but it ain’t 15 min, Trindand james, bobby smurda, Chief keef, those are more like 15 mins rappers, Cardi has made it to the top of the music industry in terms of popularity with no signs of fading. I wish snow the product, dreezy or rapsody had the kind of push she got.

        1. Her “songs and skills” are good. That’s what people don’t want to admit. Her album is tight as hell. That’s what people don’t want to admit. That’s why she’s still here.

    3. Bruno is the hand pick top artist for R&B but he cant hold a candle to true R& B singers and now they want to make a No Talent stripper the face for young ladies and girls why hold this trash as talent

    4. I would see Charlie Wilson out of all those opening acts. Gap Band was dope! Boyz II Men is cool but something feels missing with McCary gone.
