Hip Hop fans were treated to some good ol’ fashioned beef last week when Dipset rapper Cam’ron and veteran MC Mase got into a war of words. Killa Cam recently stopped by The Breakfast Club and dismissed the notion he dissed the rapper-turned-pastor at all. He explains he was simply telling his account of certain “real life” situations he’s been through, and that Mase was spitting fiction.

In particular, he references the line in Mase’s “The Oracle” diss track that suggests Cam had sex with his own sister, something Cam adamantly refutes.

“I never dissed Mase,” Cam said. “I’m telling you stories about real life situations. I never made up ‘fucked my sister,’ the imaginary sister that I don’t have. I don’t have a sister. I don’t really do fiction when it comes to Mase.”

“I’ve never dissed Mase in my life,” he continues. “I don’t mess with Mase no more, ’cause me personally I just go by a different standard than people. Once you start playin’ with God and taking people’s money, and say rap is the devil then come back and rap ’cause you ain’t got no money, I just can’t pump with you. I’m not sayin’ I’m the most religious guy in the world, but I don’t play with you when you play with God. There was a time when he was like, ‘Yo, you know Deacons is gettin’ that money.’ I was like it’s over. I can’t really mess with you.”

The two OG rappers publicly made peace shortly after Cam responded to “The Oracle” with his own diss track called “Dinner Time” on Saturday (November 25).
