Jay Z and Bruno Mars will probably win album of the year….Cardi B Should get rap song of the year…..Jay Z will get rap album of the year……My only lock will be that JAY Z will win song of the year with the story of OJ you can book that one the other ones are more speculation
Why the grammys have to play Chris Brown like he aint drop a really good r&b album
cuz he aint
Maybe it was released after the submission deadline?
Where is Future, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Dj Khaled- they got lotta bangers this year
Future, Drake, and DJ Khaled are all trash
NEVER HEARD OF ED SHAREEN.
SORRY
How the f are these the nominations…how is Mask Off not S.O.Y?!?!?!? #oscarssowack
The 6ix God isn’t nominated because he himself didn’t submit anything to the Academy. He’s way bigger than the biggest music awards ceremony. He doesn’t need any Grammys to show his worldwide iconic GOAT status. The proof is in the numbers and records he has broken. Everybody nominated wish they were in Drake’s shoes, Hov included. He fears Drake, you can tell. And especially Kenwack, he’ll never reach Drake’s status. #DrakeIsLoveDrakeIsLife
I’M SORRY BUT WE DIDN’T NOMINATE DRAKE FOR ANYTHING BECAUSE THAT MORE LIFE ALBUM WAS PURE TRASH.
MAYBE NEXT YEAR HE WILL BE NOMINATED IF HE ACTUALLY DROPS A GOOD PROJECT.
your fucked in the head ovoqueer, fake drake didn’t submit more trash cause he knows that ghostwritten bitch made bullshit does not have a chance against real hip hop albums written by real MC’s. he whine’s and complains like a bitch cause he want’s to be nominated in numerous catagories cause he feels he deserves to be..gtfoh. he’s scared and insecure when he see’s his 2 biggest competitors receiving outstanding critical acclaim for their albums and fake drake’s last 2 albums have been overly panned, criticized and laughed at. as far as the numbers and records he has broken..MC Hammer and vanilla ice did bigger numbers and sales back in 1990 with physical album sales not this streaming [renting] counting as sales. Fake Drake is nothing more than this generations MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice. one thing he does not have and never will have is the critical acclaim he so desperately wants…get back to jerking off to your drake poster ovoqueer
Glad to see Rapsody getting nominated. It’d be great if she won, but she probably won’t. I don’t think her album is better than DAMN. or 4:44, but just knowing that she got nominated while being relatively unknown to the masses, is a feat, in itself!
Y’all can call me a hater. But I don’t care for Jay or Kdots album. K dots was too geared toward radio for me to enjoy it.. and jays was just dull to me. I always reminisce on Jayz reasonable doubt, one of the most underrated rap albums ever.
How is reasonable doubt underrated??? Its been a classic. Everyone knows its a classic. gtfoh
HOW THE FUCK DID LIL UZI VERT GET A GRAMMY NOMINATION!?!?
That Jay-z album was trash. K-dots album should win every category it’s nominated in, since it’s the only decent thing on the list. Redbone was the only good track on gambinos album, not sure why the album is nominated so many times. Future and the weeknd are more mainstream, but given that Taylor swift won album of the year twice… I would call that a snub.
Flower Boy this is the first time hearing about this chump S M H. These are the best albums of the yr
Slim Thug Welcome To Houston
Devin The Dude Acoustic Levitation
Public Enemy Nothing Is Quick In The Desert
DJ Quick And Problem Rosecrans
KRS One The World Is Mind
Kool G Rap Return Of The Don
MC Eiht Wich Way Iz West
Nothing else come close to the albums
I beg to differ.
So nobody born after 1975 is making good music huh? Lol
Where are the nominations for real hip music. Most of those artists are commercial trash. They should have categories for just hip hop artists. I hate water down trash for the suburbs. I know because i live in the suburbs.
No one will say it but this all because Drake critiicized the Grammys for categorizing “Hotline Bling” as rap becuase he is black and he opted out of nominating More Life. It’s the precise reason they went all hiphop this year. And Jay-Z will be forerunner to win album of the year. Garunteed.
I can’t believe I’m saying this…but the fact that Jay’s album is even nominated is fuckin absurd. That shit was trash bags and was prob in the nominations the day before it dropped. Being I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s, it amazes me that Hiphop is still looking for the Grammy’s approval. We sold out Hiphop to be like all the other music based on perceived “racism” and now it is and it sucks. I said it back then…”be careful what you wish for cuz it might come true” Now hiphop is just a slightly edgier version of pop music…nothing special about it anymore.
I liked Humble a lot, but DNA was by far the better song on DAMN.
R-O-C still running this rap shit. King HOV was 21 Grammys, broke ass Nas has zero. King HOV the GOAT.
Pac had zero grammys and wayy better artist than Jay and also Jay bit Pacs song after he died. You are the biggest Jay stan ever and he probably hasnt dapped you or autographed shit for you fanboy. Keep jackig off to that blueprint postwr in your little room hahaha
4:44 shouldn’t be on the album or rap of album of the year.
Damn shouldn’t be because when people first heard it, they thought “is this it?” and expected a second album 3 days after. Freddie Gibbs should of been on rap album of the year
Kendrick for the win. Jay Z should sit the F?;k down for these ones. hes been getting free awards for nothing..
No Dj Khalid, that wild thoughts song was a monster. I’m always gonna be pissed with the (most records sold) nominations, at least logic has got a nod
Wild Thoughts is overplayed as hell and has nothing on the original “Maria Maria”. It almost ruined that song for me.
How does 4:44 make any award list? Most people listened to that shit once and forgot about it. I never seen such an above average album get so much praise.
no drake
Jay z is overrated. His music is not that popular just his name is popular
