After Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson‘s popular television series, Power, was omitted from the list of 2017 Golden Globe nominations, he quickly took to Instagram to shed light on how he feels about the situation. As the Starz show’s executive producer and resident bad guy “Kanan,” he certainly has plenty of blood, sweat and tears invested in the show, so it makes sense that he’s feeling a certain type of way.

“Golden Globe’s can suck a dick,” Jackson captioned the Instagram photo. “I accept my series POWER was not intended to be a signature show for the network, but it is the highest rated show. I know my audience very well. I’m done promoting this outside of contractual obligations. SEASON 4 KANAN MUST DIE, I got other shit to do.”

Whether or not this signals the end for Kanan in Season 4 or not remains to be seen, but for now, it looks like the accomplished artist is considering severing ties with his commitment to the show. In another Instagram post, he shared a photo of longtime associate and boxing champion Floyd Mayweather as a character on the show, which is ironic considering the pair’s well-documented love-hate relationship.

“I’m off the POWER train, champ is going to do the show,” he captioned his most recent photo. “Go to him for more info, I gotta do something different.”

Power is one of the network’s most-watched dramas. For the Season 3 premiere, over 2 million viewers tuned in and after two replays, the number jumped to 3.37 million. With Season 3 a wrap, it should be interesting to see how this all plays out, especially if one of the show’s coveted participants decides to leave.
