The firestorm continues as Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 4 receives more heat. The latest critic is Project Runway star and noted fashion expert Tim Gunn who spoke with Access Hollywood about the already-berated collection.

“I’m totally perplexed about why the fashion industry has not looked at these frankly dumb, basic clothes and cried, ‘Hoax! Hoax!'” Gunn says. “Kanye West is a sphinx without a riddle. I just don’t understand why people are so in awe.”

Ye’s most recent line barely had a chance as the outcry came pouring in straight off the runway after models fainted from heat exhaustion and were throwing their shoes aside while walking. Really, the roasting began before we even saw the clothes as the Chicago rapper was thrashed for making his casting call only open to “multiracial women.”

Although the collection has not gone to retail yet, items from Yeezy Season 3 ranged in price from $200 for a T-shirt to more than $1,000 for a shearling jacket. An awfully expensive price tag for what has been dubbed “homeless” clothing, Star Wars costumes and “future slave gear.

“I think the only thing dumber than these clothes would be the people who would buy these clothes,” Gunn concludes.
