Wale suggests that Jim Harbaugh, the University of Michigan football team’s Head Coach, run for president in 2020.
Seemingly impressed by Coach Jim Harbaugh’s work with the University of Michigan football team this season, the team is currently 10-3, Wale shared his belief that Harbaugh should consider running for president of the United States.
The D.C. lyricist made the suggestion via Twitter on January 1.

“Harbaugh for prez #2020 he just wins things . With whatever he has.. Haha,” Wale wrote in a tweet sent earlier this month.
Shortly after Wale sent his tweet, Harbaugh responded by stating that he’d run for president if Wale serves as his vice president.
“OK partner, we’re doing this as long as you are my VP!
Harbaugh/Wale 2020! You with me?,” Harbaugh tweeted on January 3.

In response to Harbaugh’s request, Wale stated that he would “absolutely” be interested.
In addition to Wale, fellow rapper Kanye West has also expressed interest in running for office in 2020.
