On the season two premiere of Empire last night (September 23), Taraji P. Henson’s character Cookie Lyon called out 50 Cent.

“50 Cent still taking jabs at us. Look at what he put on the ‘Gram. Thirsty-ass,” Access Hollywood reports she said.

The rapper frequently takes shots at Empire. Henson and him traded remarks earlier this year.

The G-Unit boss responded with an Instagram video.

“Can’t believe Cookie would say some shit like that about me,” he says with a romantic song playing in the background. “Thirsty, me? Thirsty? C’mon. You stupid?”

The music stops and the video jumps to another scene of the rapper.

50 Cent also posted a picture saying, “F*ck Empire, tell em’ we said.

“Get outta here with that PG13 bullsh!t. LOL,” the caption reads.

50 Cent executively produces and acts in Power, a Starz television program about a drug dealer who leads a double life. The show appears on a subscription cable network and therefore is able to have more mature content than Empire. The Fox show is rated TV-14.
