50 Cent & Taraji Henson Clash Over “Empire” Vs. “Power”

A little over a week after 50 Cent originally took a jab at Fox’s new TV series Empire for what he claims is a marketing plan that copies his own Starz show Power, Empire actor Taraji Henson fired back at the G-Unit founder on Twitter, writing, “I pay attention to $’s NOT cents.”

Now, 50 Cent has responded himself in an Instagram video making light of the back-and-forth while keeping up a bit of playful banter over the competing shows.

I’m at CES 2015 working #SMSAUDIO,” he wrote in the post’s caption before adding, “@tarajiphenson don’t be mad at me.lol. I love your work girl.”

The Taraji Henson and Terrence Howard-led Empire premiers tonight (January 7) on Fox at 9 pm EST. Timbaland is the show’s executive music producer.

    1. the stuff you guys make news out of is crazy. yet no mention of the studio pictures of chris brown, tyga and 50 cent.

    2. “I pay attention to $$$ not cents” Taraji Henson LOOOOOL

Baby girl ethered Curtis lool. I think Taraji better start ghost writing lyrics for rappers these days.

“I am about my Dollars WTF is 50 Cent” Jay- Z

      1. so recyling a 15 year old diss is ether? fif has more $$$ and cents than her.

    3. Bitch is tripping. 50 never said shit about her, he said her show ripped off the marketing from his show which it did. He actually said he liked her if I’m not mistaken. I also noticed 50’s SMS Audio partner Timbaland is executive music producer for the show 50 was calling out.

    4. 50 Cent shouldn’t be dissing her he should be lickin her asshole and toes and telling her how awesome she is and how great her pussy taste! 50 needs to learn to congratulate people on their sucess and keep his mouth shut..
