DVLP is suing Birdman for $200,000 for not paying him for his production work, TMZ reports.

The producer, pronounced “develop,” says that the Cash Money boss never paid him for his work with Lil Wayne and other artists. He says that he had various text message conversations with Birdman, but never saw the promised check.

DVLP’s first work with Wayne was 2005’s “Fireman” and he worked consistently with the New Orleans emcee after that. He was featured in Lil Wayne’s #WeezyWednesday series last year.

The producer has also worked with Rick Ross and Pitbull and he crafted the “Rap God” beat for Eminem.
