In honor of the 10-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, portions of the proceeds from the Lil Weezyana Fest will go to Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter Fund, XXL reports.

Lil Wayne‘s foundation has raised money on other occasions for the rebuilding efforts after the Category 5 hurricane swept through his hometown of New Orleans on August 29, 2005. More than 1,000 people died as a result of the storm.

Lil Weezyana Fest is scheduled to be Friday (August 28) and will reportedly feature a Hot Boy$ reunion.

With an upload to Instagram, Lil Wayne’s manager, Cortez Bryant has announced the first ever Lil Weezyana Fest. Bryant’s upload appears to be a flyer for the festival, which will be hosted by Lil Wayne, and features the following caption:

“We coming home to give the city the greatest concert ever! @liltunechi”

Lil Weezyana Fest is scheduled to take place in Lil Wayne’s hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana on August 28, 2015 at Bold Sphere Music at Champions Square.

Complex reports that the festival will also boast a Hot Boys reunion. Prominent in the late 90s and the early 2000s, the Hot Boys featured Lil Wayne, Juvenile, B.G., and Turk as its members.

News of the festival comes at a time when Lil Wayne appears to be even closer to severing his ties with Cash Money Records.

Last month, TMZ reported that Lil Wayne made claims that in addition to himself, Nicki Minaj and Drake were also being mismanaged by Cash Money.
