DJ Khaled is responding to a lawsuit from Rafaello & Company by counter-suing them for lying to him about the value of the jewelry given to him, according to Bossip.
The company sued Khaled in March for not paying for jewelry after a 15-day trial period. It reportedly gave him two Rolex watches, a custom diamond chain, a pair of diamond earrings and a 4 carat diamond ring, none of which he reportedly returned nor paid for.
DJ Khaled is now saying that the documents Rafaello & Company provided in its original suit are fraudulent. He also says that the jewelry provided to him was not worth what they told him it was worth.
Over the course of six years, DJ Khaled says purchased multiple items for himself and friends and found that all of the items were overpriced. One of the items was sold to him as a gold Cuban link chain with 98 diamonds priced at $110,000. The necklace’s reported actual value was less than $30,000.
