The breakup between Nicki Minaj and Safaree Samuels was a lot more public than their intimate relationship ever was. Music and Twitter have been the main stages for accusations of unfaithfulness and other claims explaining why the relationship didn’t work.

Recently, Safaree released a song describing his relationship with the Young Money artist, putting her in a less than flattering light. Nicki would then take to Twitter and accuse Safaree of cheating on her.

Even more recently, Safaree spoke with a TMZ reporter about Nicki’s unfaithful accusations explaining that “nobody’s perfect” and that it was just one song from his album.

“It’s a two-way street, I’m not perfect, nobody’s perfect,” he would also go on to explain that he has moved on and that he is currently happy: “I’m happy now. I couldn’t be happier. I done put the song out, not as a diss song. I’m not trying to air nothing out. It’s just me explaining where I’m coming from. I’m not trying to beat anyone down or nothing like that.”
