According to Complex, hundreds of life-sized cutouts of Nicki Minaj from her “Anaconda” cover art were placed on the steps of Helsinki Cathedral in Helsinki, Finland.
The website reports that there was in fact a reason behind the flood of Minaj cutouts. The “Anaconda” cutouts were a marketing move by the upcoming Summer Up Festival to promote the Queens, New York rapstress’ appearance at the festival.
Minaj’s performance at the Summer Up Festival, which will take place in July, will serve as the first time the musician performs in Finland.

The festival will also welcome an appearance from Atlanta, Georgia duo Rae Sremmurd.
In addition to being treated to the sight of hundreds of Nicki Minaj cutouts, those in Helsinki were also treated to tickets to the Summer Up Festival. One-hundred cutouts featured two-day tickets to the festival placed on the back of them.
