J-Doe, a member of Busta Rhyme’s The Conglomerate, recently stopped by HipHopDX to talk about his breakthrough single, “IonGivaFuhABowNuhn.”
The official music video for the track was released this week and it features cameos from Raekwon, Ace Hood, DJ Khaled, Mack Wilds and DX’s own Editor-in-Chief, Justin Hunte.
Busta Rhymes directed the visual but J-Doe says there was a few people involved in creating the video’s concept.
“Busta is a visionary,” the Inglewood, California native says. “He was the vision behind this whole video. When he told it to me, I shot it to my manager. Melissa had more ideas about other people we can get in. It just kept steamrolling from there…Everybody just started pitching in new ideas about who else we can get in there.

“I have a completely different video coming out in like two or three weeks that is just me, like a traditional video,” he adds.
J-Doe also explains that he created the song in February 2013 – nearly two years before Big Sean’s “I Don’t Fuck With You.”
Although he acknowledges that the song is similar, J-Doe says the concept for “IonGivaFuhABowNuhn” is different.
“When we heard the ‘IDFWU’ record that was an idea, like, ‘Yo, maybe we shouldn’t put that song out because Sean now has took the ‘I Don’t Give A Fuck.’ His concept is different. His is directly dealing with a relationship and it’s a little bit more emotional,” J-Doe says. “That’s what happens when you break up with somebody. All of the sudden you was in love yesterday and today you like, ‘I don’t give a fuck.”
