According to TMZ, added details in the hit-and-run involving former Death Row Records CEO, Suge Knight have been revealed this week.

The website reports that authorities have stated that there was no gun or gunmen seen in the video footage of the incident, which took place late last month on a film set in Compton, California.

Authorities’ take on the video footage is contrary to what Knight’s attorney, David Kenner says can be seen in the footage. Earlier this week, USA Today reported that Kenner claimed “an ambush” on the former music exec can be seen in the surveillance video.

The ambush reportedly took place shortly before Knight hit two men with his truck, killing one of them.

Earlier this week, TMZ reported that Cle “Bone” Sloan, one of the men hit by Knight, can be seen pointing a gun at Knight in the surveillance video, according to their sources.

While speaking with USA Today, Kenner revealed that the footage will help in creating a defense against the murder, attempted murder, and hit-and-run charges, Knight faces.

With authorities stating that no gun or gunmen can be seen in the video footage, TMZ reports that prosecutors also plan on using the surveillance video as “a cornerstone of their case.”
