For the fourth year-in-a-row, LL Cool J will host the Grammy Awards.

The award show unveiled its host for the annual event yesterday (January 21) via Grammy.com.

LL is a two-time Grammy award winner and has been involved with the show on ten different occasions.

He’s served as producer for “The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!!” and has participated in tributes and a variety of specials.

“I’m thrilled to again be part of Music’s Biggest Night,” said LL. “The performances and moments you see on the GRAMMY stage are nothing less than amazing throughout the years and this year’s show is shaping up to be one you will never forget.”

There are only two other hosts that have returned to the award show more than LL.

From 1971 – 1977, Andy  Williams hosted the Grammys a record six consecutive times. Paul Simon also hosted the show on six separate occasions.

The Grammys have already announced that Common, Usher, Pharrell, John Legend, Sam Smith and more artists will perform during the night.
