Lil B may be the Basedgod but it took a different higher power to rescue him from a dangerous situation.
According to the Contra Costa Times, on Thursday (January 15), 15-year-old Mateo Ysmael saved Lil B from an electrical fire that went ablaze at the two-story duplex the two live at. The Bay-Area native along with six others were rescued by Ysmael who ran through the complex, banging on doors and alerting everyone.
“I’m grateful to be alive,” Lil B said reflecting on the fire. “If that kid didn’t come knocking on my door…” Some of his music and clothing were lost in the fire, however he was unharmed.
Lil B also tweeted about his house fire experience and encouraged his fans to donate to Ysmael, providing his Paypal account.
