Tupac’s memory has remained alive since his death thanks to his mother Afeni Shakur who is making plans to continue keeping his memory fresh in everyone’s mind. Afeni Shakur says Tupac’s very last album will released next year as she continues to renovate his Peace Memorial in Atlanta, Georgia. “Tupac died, the first year and afterward, we thought the way to celebrate him was to have concerts and events every June in Georgia,” Afeni Shakur told MTV. “And after we spent so much money and only affected the people right there, we decided we’d build a foundation and work with young people on an ongoing basis.” The memorial will be reopened on June 10th.
As far as his music, Tupac’s latest’s album Loyal to the Game will not have many singles released to radio. “Loyal to the Game will have no more singles,” Afeni told MTV. “We’ll do a spoken-word album this year, and next year we’ll do the final unreleased song album for Tupac. And then we’re going to beg you all to come and see us at the Peace Memorial Garden and Visiting Center.”
