Jay-Z is taking his new line of S. Carter sneakers straight to the ballers. Jay-Z’s latest sneaker the S. Carter Basketball Mid debuted on the NBA court this past weekend by several NBA players including Jamal Crawford and Kenyon Martin. In a new thirty second commercial launched by the marketing team for Reebok, shows Jay-Z walking through a business in a suit as he gives his approval about elite basketball players showcasing their passing and dunking skills in a futuristic environment. The S.Carter Basketball Mid comes in leather detailing with a herringbone, high abrasion outsole for traction and durability. The shoe will be sold in retail stores for $85.00. Other shoes in the S. Carter collection include the S. Carter, S. Carter II and the S. Carter Tennis.
With his hit “Tipsy” making his debut album Hood Hop one of the biggest selling albums of 2004, J-Kwon is planning to start off 2005 back on the top of the Billboard charts. J-Kwon is back in the studio working on his new album Louisville Slugger on the So So Def label. Guest appearances on this album will be Ebony Eyez (a female rapper from St. Louis), Nelly, and Chingy. The album is due in stores on April 19th.
