On a promotional tour in support of his album “Kamikaze” Twista was injured in a car accident earlier this week. Traveling from Syracuse NY to Chicago Twista also known as Carl Mitchell, was riding in a van with more than four other people when it went out of the lane on Interstate 90 and rolled over into the median. Passengers in the van were ejected out of the vehicle except for the driver who was wearing his seat belt.

Besides Twista, three other men were taken to the hospital for their injuries though none were said to be severe. Arthur Dixon a friend and member of security died from his injuries at the hospital. Pennyslvania State Police are still investigating the accident but believe the driver may have fell asleep at the wheel. No charges have been filed against the driver as of yet. Twista has been treated and released from the hospital. Twista’s latest album will be reissued on October 19th with previously unreleased songs and remixes.
