B.G., who is serving a 14-year prison term for gun possession and witness tampering, recently called Young Buck. During the conversation, a portion of which was posted on a video on worldstarhiphop.com, Young Buck says that he’s going to start a “Free B.G.” campaign.
Young Buck, who appears to be in a recording booth in the video, allows B.G. to speak during much of the video.
In 2009, B.G. and two other men were arrested during a traffic stop in New Orleans. He pled guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm. The rapper was later also charged with obstruction of justice after he allegedly tried to have one of the other men arrested with him say that a gun found during the traffic stop was theirs.
A total of three guns and loaded magazines were found in the rental car in which B.G. and Demounde Pollard and Jerod Fedison were riding, according to nola.com. Two of the guns were reported stolen and the car in which the three were stopped was also stolen, as per nola.com.

“Niggas gotta live with they decisions that they make as a man and they already know what comes with the game,” B.G. says during his conversation with Young Buck. “So it is what it is. I ain’t doing no trippin’, no stressin’, no worryin’.”
B.G. says part of the reason he is upbeat is that he was facing 25 years in prison.
“At the end of the day, I know it could have been much worse and I wasn’t no angel,” he says. “A nigga got to take the good with the bad.”
B.G. also says that he is glad he did not snitch, something he also discusses in his music, including the 2011 song “I Ain’t Tellin.”

“One thing I don’t regret is being a real nigga and not taking nobody with me, because at the end of the day, they wanted a nigga to take mothafuckers with him and I don’t believe in that,” he says. “So, it is what it is.”
At the end of the clip, B.G. appears to give Young Buck a directive inspired, at least in part, from the title of Scarface’s 2000 album, The Last Of A Dying Breed.
“You got to represent for the real niggas, my nigga,” B.G. says. “You know we the last of a dyin’ breed, like the big homie ‘Face said. They don’t make ‘em like us no more. We cut from a different cloth, man, so you’ve got to keep your foot on these niggas’ necks, man, at all costs.”
