With several albums expected to hit the streets later this year Cam’ron and Jim Jones have more than music jumping off. In their latest business deal the two have gone into a joint venture with KOCH Records to create Diplomatic Man Records, which was formerly known as Diplomat Records. In the new deal the Diplomats will use KOCH for all distribution and some marketing support for any albums put out through the label. The first album that will be released through the new partnership will be “The Diplomats Present Jim Jones: On My Way To Church”, which will hit stores on August 24th.
The first single “Certified Gangsters” featuring Game of G-Unit and Cam’ron has already been released and is receiving heavy video rotation on BET and MTV as well as the radio. “It’s incredibly exciting doing a deal with Jim Jones and Cam’ron. Jim Jones’ first single, “Certified Gangsters,” is one of the hottest street records in the country. He’s a multi-talented personality and a terrific video director and rapper. We look forward to a long and successful association!”, General Manager/Executive VP of KOCH Alan Grunblatt said. The next album release will be a Diplomat’s mixtape in October.
