T.I. isn’t letting is his current sentence stop his goals on being one of the hottest rappers around though it may sometimes lead to trouble for others. While shooting an introduction video for an upcoming concert in the maximum security Fulton County Jail in Georgia, an inmate escaped from the prison for six hours.
Dressed in medical scrubs, Cara Williams snuck out of a door used by employees during the video shoot. Six hours later she was found at a gas station. Jacki Barrett, a spokesperson for the Fulton County Sheriff’s office said she was unaware of any video that was authorized to be made by in the jail and is looking into how the entire situation came about. T.I. who is on work release from another jail says permission was given to him by Fulton officials to shoot the brief scene. The video was used as an introduction to the Atlanta Summer Jam last Saturday showing T.I. apologizing for missing shows due to his incarceration and then two guards leading him away from his cell as he jumped on stage to perform.
