CTE boss Young Jeezy, who is using the moniker “Jefe” on his latest project, releases his collaborative Bo$$ Yo Life Up Gang mixtape with his recent signees Doughboyz Cashout and YG.
The BYLUG project is a follow-up to Jeezy’s 2012 mixtape, It’s Tha World. It is also the first official CTE action for both Compton, California rapper YG and Detroit, Michigan group Doughboyz CashOut. The entire crew’s debut effort includes contributions from DJ Mustard, Rich Homie Quan and Nipsey Hussle.
The compilation is presented by frequent collaborators Don Cannon and DJ Drama. After Cannon’s Aphiliates departure in 2008, the pair reunites, a callback to the early Gangsta Grillz days.
