About to make his mark on hip-hop, Nelly will be his first rapper to release two albums on the same day. With plans to make both albums diferent Nelly is hoping to represent more than St. Louis this time around. The first album Sweat will maintain the same vibe as “Hot In Herre” and “Air Force Ones” with uptempo club songs. Suit will feature a more “grown and sexy” style along the lines of “Ride Wit Me” and “Dilemma”.

“I had so much material that at first I thought about releasing a double CD, but then I thought it would be better to release two albums separately to show fans the best of both sides of Nellyville. When I first came out I was representing my city hard, now I’m trying to explain so much more. I think both albums show my growth creatively and personally”.

The first single from Sweat will be “Flap Your Wings” produced by hitmakers the Neptunes. The lead single from “Suit” will be “My Place” featuring Jahiem. The album will be released on Universal Records on September 14th. Since the release of his first album Country Grammar in 2000, Nelly has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide.
