Ready to join the ranks as one of the best rappers to ever do it, Jadakiss is hoping his second solo album “Kiss of Death” puts him in that category. With his new single “Time’s Up” gaining more radio airplay and climbing quickly up the billboard charts, Jadakiss is hoping to show the fans that he is more than just a rapper with flow.
“If anybody ever followed my career, I was always categorized as one of the top spitters,” Jadakiss said. “My rough voice and my delivery set me aside from everyone else. I been getting a lot of criticism with the media. They said the only thing that was [hindering] me from being one of the greats like Rakim, Jigga and 50 Cent was that I never let the listeners inside my world, my life It just seemed like there was always something missing. But this time I’m going to make sure all the chips are in place”. Making sure the chips are in place also means getting the hottest artists to appear on your album. Guest appearances on the album will be Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Anthony Hamilton, Styles, DJ Quik and Nate Dogg. Jadakiss album hits stores June 22nd.
