In a trial that brought out everyone from Jay-Z and Beyonce, Damon Dash, Kareem Burke to Kanye West, Beanie Sigel’s attempted murder trial has finally come to an end. After five days of deliberation the jury came back in the Court of Common Pleas and told Judge Karen Shreeves- Johns they were unable to decide Siegel’s fate-which made her declare a mistrial.

This isn’t the first time jurors told the judge they were unable to come to a decision. Last week jurors told the judge they couldn’t reach a verdict and she instructed them to take more time to review the case. Siegel was accused of shooting Terrance Speller outside a bar in Philadelphia. Fortunato Perri Jr., Beanie’s lawyer questioned the credibility of Terrance and the other eyewitness David Aimes who both stated they were drinking and smoking marijuana at the time of incident. There is still a possibility that the prosecutors could retry the case with another jury. Siegel still has a sentencing in another case he pleaded guilty in for gun charges.
