Although it’s been rumored that Lil Flip is no longer with Suckafree Records, that doesn’t stop the lawsuits from coming. Music Producer Tommy Granville Jr. is suing Suckafree Records, Lil Flip (also known as Wesley Eric Weston), Duane Hobbs and Sony Music Entertainment for $1,500,000 alleging copy right infringement and lack of production credit. The lawsuit, which was filed on August 5th of 2003, alleges Granville never received payment for his work on the 2003 release “Undagroud Legend”.

According to the RIAA, the album was certified platinum but Granville’s production was held out from the album. Alleging sole production credit on “What I Been Through”,” Make Mama Proud” and “Texas Boys”, he feels this has interfered with him getting any monetary compensation especially since Lil Flip is shown as the sole producer.
