DJ Quik has not only become a wanted producer in the music business but a wanted man by law enforcement. A $50,000 arrest warrant was issued in Fontana, California last week for DJ Quik also known as David Blake for alleged felony burglary and assault charges.
The incident allegedly occurred on November 2nd when Quik was said to have broken in to his sister, Debra Armstrong’s home and assaulted her. According to MTV two children and another adult were in the home at that time and witness it happen. Police said the charges were delayed because they needed to gather sufficient evidence to state a crime might have occurred. Police have sought help from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) to help figure out where Quik’s whereabouts are. DJ Quik burst on the scene in the 90’s as a rapper but soon become known for his production skills. Currently DJ Quik has put together production for the likes of Jay-Z on “The Black Album” and Talib Kweli.
