Last week it was a thought but this week the possibility is growing that Wu-Tang will truly reunite for a tour and a possible album. Ghostface Killah is the first to announce that the talking has officially began between the clan.
“We still got a few other things we gotta sit down and talk about, but the word is up. I got the phone call not too long ago,” Ghostface told MTV. “I’m all for it. As long as everybody is in the same state of mind and the mind is right, then Wu can do whatever we want to do.”
Though Ghostface is ready to reunite, he is quick to speak on the group coming together only if they can give 200 percent in time and energy. “I was 23-years-old when I first did Enter the 36 Chambers. Growing old, you have a lot of other things on your mind. Everybody just gotta be in sync. We all have to make sure we are all 200 percent properly in the same state of mind and know what direction we’re going to.” Though he is ready to rejoin the group, Ghostface has had tremendous success as a solo artist and is preparing to release his next album “The Pretty Toney Album” in February. “This one is a little offspring of “Supreme Clientele”. Last time on “Bulletproof Wallets”, I had a lot of stuff I had to take off because of dealing with the sample issue,” he said. “Sometimes that will go ahead and crush your album a little bit”. On the new album Jadakiss, Raekwon, Dirt McGirt and possibly Busta Rhymes will do guest appearances.
