Murphy Lee and the St. Lunatics’ have a new reason to party this week. Murphy Lee’s debut album “Murphy’s Law” has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), signifying his sales surpassing 500,000 copies.
Released in October, Murphy Lee fought off stiff competition to sell more than 134,000 copies in his first week. With guest appearances from Nelly, P. Diddy, Mannie Fresh, Jazze Pha Lil Wayne and many others. Murphy Lee recently wrapped production on his third video for his third single “Luv Me Baby”. The second single from his album “Wat Da Hook Gon Be” featuring Jermaine Durpi is currently on the Top 10 at Crossover and Urban Radio outlets.
Currently Murphy Lee is on tour in Europe promoting his album but has several television appearances scheduled for later this year. Murphy will be appearing on the UPN television show “The Parkers” and the Jimmy Kimmel show on December 2nd.
