It’s been a minute since Lex Diamond also known as Raekwon the Chef released an album, but the wait will soon be over. On December 16th, Raekwon of the group Wu-Tang Clan will be releasing his new album “The Lex Diamond Story”. With appearances from Fat Joe and Ghostface Killer (“Clientele Kidd”), Method Man and Cappadonna (Ice Cream”), Tiffany Villarreal(“The Hood”) and Capone and Sheek Louch (“Planet of the Apes”).
The album will be released on his new label Ice Water Entertainment in conjuction with Universal Records. There will also be appeareances by his new artists that he signed to his label on tracks such as “Robbery and “Wild in the Club” with two other Wu-Tang members Masta Killa and Inspecta Deck. Raekwon’s last album “Immobilarity”, which was released in 1999 sold 420,000 copies in the US. According to Billboard, Raekwon is scheduled to appear on 106 & Park, Soul Train and Direct Effect.
