There’s a good chance that the much talked about collaboration between singer Frank Ocean and Nas may never see the light of day thanks to a mere technical mishap. Ocean revealed the unfortunate news of the doomed track, which was to be titled “No Such Thing As White Jesus,” during his interview with the New York Times.

Despite “No Such Thing As White Jesus” being possibly lost forever, Ocean did give readers a small sample of the song as he recited a portion of the song’s lyrics to the New York Times.

“Whatever you do, young king, don’t wind up dead. Young queen, cross your legs. Put a crown on your head and remove the chains. Cause even diamond chains are for slaves. Don’t set foot in no penitentiary. And don’t taste the poison. Don’t you bail on your families,” Ocean recited.

During his interview the singer also discussed his upcoming album Channel Orange, his life-changing move from New Orleans to California, and quite literally suffering for his music.

“I’ve written some great things,” Ocean explained. “That’s a gift, but there’s consequences. Yeah, you get this great work, but you suffer. You really, really suffer.”

Ocean’s debut album Channel Orange will be released on July 17th.
