After making a big hit at the MTV music awards, it seems as if 50 Cent’s bodyguards may be able to top his performance. A New York Post photographer, Jim Alcorn, claims that two of 50 Cent’s bodyguards knocked him to the ground as he tried to take pictures of 50 leaving Jacob the Jeweler’s store in Manhattan last week.

“I hit my head on the Suburban and fell on the street,” Alcorn told the NY Post. “They just stood over me laughing. There were about six or seven guys, all over six feet tall and about 350 pounds each. One of the guys had a cast on his arm, and he cross-checked me into one of the two black Chevy Suburbans that were outside the store. Instead of helping me up, they pulled me away from the car and dropped me in the street again. Then they took off.” Throughout the alleged incident, the photographer continued to take photographs of the bodyguards while he was on the ground.

He later went to the emergency room to be treated. “I had X-rays and a CAT scan. I had a really nasty headache, but nothing was broken. I’m on a lot of painkillers and muscle relaxers right now. They shouldn’t have touched me. I had my press card around my neck, a photo vest and I was holding two cameras. I told them I was from The Post and he was a celebrity on a public street. But instead of complying with the freedom of the press in the Constitution, they decided to rough me up. Right now I just want to feel better but I probably will consult an attorney.” Somehow, I knew he would say that. During 50’s trip to see Jacob the Jeweler he bought a new $18,000 watch.
