Although many of us are used to hearing MTV’s phrase “You Hear It First”, they have decided to bring new music closer to a town near you. MTV has decided to put together a concert this summer with some of Rock and Hip-Hop’s soon to be stars. In the hip-hop arena MTV has recruited Common, Bubba Sparxxx, Anthony Hamilton and Jin to hit the road.
Jin may be familiar to some as he gained national recognition by winning Freestyle battles on BET’s 106 and Park or through his appearance in “2 Fast 2 Furious”. Jin is now signed to Ruff Ryder/ Virgin Records and will release his debut album in August. Anthony Hamilton will also be releasing his debut album in August on Arista Records titled “Comin’ From Where I’m From”. Bubba Sparxxx is burning up radio and television with his hot new single “Deliverance”.

• July 29: Philadelphia @ Trocadaro
• July 30: Boston @ Roxy
