I Self Divine To Release "The Sounds Of Low Class America" In May, Four Mixtapes

Micranots co-founder I Self Divine will release his sophomore solo album The Sounds of Low Class America on May 8, 2012. The Rhymesayers Entertainment release is a follow-up to 2005’s Self Destruction.

The Dynospectrum and Semi.Official member will also release four promotional “Culture Series” mixtape-EPs for the release, beginning with January 5’s LA State of Mind. I Self Divine claims each are inspired by the 1990s “classic album” format of only 10 songs. The EPs will release monthly between January and March and feature live performances at First Avenue’s Seventh Street Entry at a later date.

Dating back to 1999, Minneapolis, Minnesota’s Micranots released three albums, and were among Rhymesayers’ earliest artists.
