Getting back into the flow of performing on stage, ODB or Dirt McGirt got a chance to get reacquainted with some of his fans when he appeared with his Brooklyn Zoo crew at the new club “Vice” in New York City yesterday. As he emerged onstage to greet his fans he said, “Nothin’ like Friday the 13th. I feel like Elton John in this mutha—-a. I been locked down for awhile so y’all gotta excuse me. Let’s see if I remember how to do this sh–.”

There was no need to worry if Dirt McGirt truly remembered how to roc the mic when went into “Shimmy, Shimmy Ya”, “Got Your Money” and “Brooklyn Zoo”. The Neptune’s are about ready to release the first song that Dirt McGirt recorded when he was released from prison title “Operator”. The song was recorded in ninety-eight minutes, as the Neptune’s and ODB were trying to beat the clock before his midnight curfew. The song will appear on the Neptune’s new album “Star Trak Presents: The Clones” on August 19th.

Pharrell Williams said he was both happy and sad about Dirt McGirt being released from jail. “One side of me is so happy that he’s out and we’re making music again,” Williams told Rolling Stone. “But, at the same time, I’m so mad that we didn’t get a chance to sign him. Dirty is such a f**kin’ star!”
