Police have nabbed the suspect who allegedly shot “The Diplomats” own Freaky Zeeky also known as Exekal Jiles. According to Newsday, last Thursday police arrested Eric Mingo, 32 in the Tremont Avenue Apartments after a police officer gained entry into the apartment posing as a maintenance man who was in the building to fix a water leak.

Eric Mingo is the third suspect arrested in the shooting and robbery case. Chanuncey Dillon and Herndon Williams have already been in police custody. In April, Freaky Zeaky and Eric Mangrum were said to be traveling in a car when an automobile accident occurred. Mingo, Dillion and Williams then tried to steal the gold medallion that Zeaky’s was wearing.

An altercation ensued and both Zeaky and Mangrum were shot. Police found Mingo hiding in a back room apartment and arrested him without incident. Mingo was arrested and charged with second-degree murder for Eric Mangrum who later died of his gunshot injuries.
