Move over Roc-A-Wear and Phat Farm. There’s a new designer in town. He went from record company owner to clothing maker. No, I’m not talking about Sean “P.Diddy” Combs I am talking about Steve Rifkind.

According to Sohh, Steve Rifkind plans to release his clothing line Street Team later this year. The urban clothing line is named after Rifkind’s world renowned method of promoting his artist as well as clients that Loud Records or his promotional company SRC (Steve Rifkind Company) were involved in. The clothing line will consist of accessories such as backpacks, wallets and keychains as well as sweatpants, t-shirts and jeans. “I’ve been thinking about doing this for about 15 years,” Rifkind said “Finding the right partner was very important.”

The clothing will be available at such stores as Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s. On the music tip, Rifkind is back with a new record label called Street Records and is enjoying success with his new artist David Banner who is riding high with his first single “Like A Pimp” featuring Lil Flip.
