Making the MTV MC Battle even hotter, MTV will be bringing it to living rooms around the world when they televise the final battle on May 17th. The two hour show will not only feature the rap battle that will be between the remaining eight MC’s, but music performances by Def Jam’s own Joe Budden’s and Ludacris.

Winners will get to be picked by America who will possibly be able to call in and vote as well as go on line. The winner of the contest will win $25,000, a Def Jam record contract, a possible character on the Def Jam Vendetta video game 2 and a slot on the Def Jam Vendetta Tour. MC’s will be chosen from a pool of $1,000 entries as well as five radio station winners who will be narrowed down by MTV and Def Jam executives. Other rappers on hand for the show will be Method Man, Cam’ron, Noreaga and Keith Murray. You can catch the selection process airing on MTV from May 14 through the 16th.
