After searching for a publisher for his yet unpublished book, 50 Cent has been picked up by none other than MTV books. Last week MTV acquired the rights to the book that was to be titled “Number One With Nine Bullets”, but has restructured a change by scrapping the title and the writer (who would have been Vanessa Satten, a writer for XXL Magazine).

MTV Books is now searching for a writer for the book and will leave it untitled for the time being. According to MTV, the publishing company also gave 50 Cent a Polaroid camera to take one picture a day for 50 days to publish in the book. The book will also detail his childhood and life as a rapper.

MTV Book Director of Publishing Jacob Hoye said, “It’s going to be his story, with elements that you know and stuff that you’ve never heard before. It’ll be the story arc you know, with lots of new information, emphasizing what it’s like to be 50 Cent amidst this explosion he’s had this past year.” Another hit book released by MTV was the popular poetry collection by Tupac Shakur titled “The Rose That Grew From Concrete”. The book will hit shelves later this year.
