After being put under a major federal investigation for a possible connection with an alleged drug dealer, a major label executive with Murder Inc. Records was arrested last week in Los Angeles. Dexter Ottley, who is said to be the Director of Promotions for the label, he was arrested on federal firearm charges when a .25-caliber gun was found in his desk drawer during a search of the record label’s Manhattan office in January of this year.

During that same search investigators also removed documents and computers from the office. Ottley was arrested shortly after eight am on April 25th as he was leaving a home in Encino, California that is rented by Murder Inc. Records with Tarik Williams (who is also a record label executive) and Taheem Crocker also known as Cadillac Tah. Neither Crocker nor Williams were charged with committing any crime. No word has been released on what the police have found in documents and computer hardrives they confiscated.
