Last November, Wiz Khalifa was arrested for trafficking marijuana, maintaining a place for sale of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a performance at East Carolina University.
Almost a year later, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native is off the hook. According to The Daily Reflector, charges have been dropped against the “Roll Up” rapper because they were in error at the time of the arrest.
District Attorney Clark Everett noted that the amount of weed found on his tour bus amounted to two ounces, which did not exceed the 10-pound threshold for the trafficking charge.
Ten people were arrested in the bus raid and were later released on $300,000 bond. During a hearing on August 11th, Wiz and six others were let off the hook, while three pleaded guilty to marijuana possession and paid an $1,000 fine and court costs.
