Are you interested in winning an artist showcase from Radio One at the Atlantis Music Conference? Can you rap or sing and want to be heard by some of the best in the business? Interested performers should put together a press kit including tape or CD (tapes will not be returned; it will be listened to by industry personnel who are judging the contest) with a three song minimum, a twenty dollar application fee and an application.
Artists will be acknowledged by mail or email and accepted artists will be notified by phone after June 1st. The grand prize winner will receive a showcase slot on the Radio One Stage, roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations and full conference registration for the artist and manager. A runner up winner will also receive airfare and hotel accommodations, full conference registration for the artist and manager. The application fee will change to $25.00 after May 1st.
Several of the seminars at the conference will be “How to Get Signed”, “Promoting Your Music To Radio” and “How’s and Why of Distribution”.
