New Edition’s Johnny Gill has been sued for engaging in a Twitter war with his former record producer Ira DeWitt last week. According to TMZ, the crooner branded her “fucking nuts” and “deranged” during their online battle that stemmed from Gill’s song being leaked and him wrongfully accusing her as the culprit.
DeWitt, married to St. Louis Cardinals owner Bill DeWitt, has filed suit against Gill in L.A. County Superior Court claiming that he damaged her reputation by slandering her record company and stating that she “only liked the leaked recording because she had a ‘hard on’ for one of the song’s producers.”
DeWitt is suing for unspecified damages.
