Just the same, producer/rapper will.i.am is joining forces with Secretary of State Clinton and the State Department to by directing a concert in Beijing, China this year.
The concert is part of President Barack Obama’s “100,000 Strong Initiative,” which seeks to increase the number of U.S. students in China.

The concert will feature performances by will.i.am and other U.S. and Chinese pop stars.
“In order to become responsible global citizens, young people need to experience the world around them,” said will.i.am in a statement.
“We must make sure that American students have the cultural awareness and skills necessary to succeed in a global economy.”
