Even though rapper Red Café is still working on wrapping up his debut studio album the rapper is also working on a project with fellow Brooklyn artist Fabolous.

Together Red Café and Fabolous have formed the Hip Hop group the Bedrock Boyz. In an interview with Vibe.com, Red Café revealed that the name of the group was inspired by none other than the city of Brooklyn.

“Me and Fab have some records coming out, so we’ll use that as a little spark. We have this group we’re working on called the Bedrock Boyz and we’re trying to get this project out now, like the Fall,” Red Café explained. “That’s a name we call Brooklyn, we call BK Bedrock.”

“It’s really just me and Fab but there’s some guys we like you’ll hear. We did about 8 records [so] far. You can definitely look for that project soon,” said Red Café.

As far as Red Café’s debut is concerned he’s also looking at a fall release date, but a single from the album will be released in the coming weeks.

“The first single will be out in 2-3 weeks,” the rapper revealed. “It’s produced by Ryan Leslie and features him and Rick Ross, called ‘Fly Together.’”
