Jumping onto the reality show bandwagon MTV is planning to bring several hip-hop artists onto the network for the spring and summer programming schedule. This summer Snoop Dogg will star in his own weekly variety show titled “Doggy Fizzle Televizzle”.
The show ran a pilot episode in December and it received pretty good ratings, so MTV ordered six more episodes. The show will premiere on June 22 at 10 PM. MTV is also bringing back one of my favorite television shows from last season MTV: “Making the Band II”, featuring P. Diddy as he continues to work with the winners (Chopper, Fredrick, Babs and several others) he picked in a grueling music competition last year.
The show will premiere on June 10th at 10:30pm so it make sure to watch it. Another show debuting on MTV is “TRL Presents: Duets”, a program where fans of music artists can perform a duet with their favorite singers. The show will premiere on May 5th at 5pm.
