An angel must have been watching over Busta Rhymes while he was on the way to the 45th annual Grammy awards. Busta Rhymes and several of his friends made a stop at his management company (violator management—the same company who manages 50 Cent) at 10pm in his new customized GMC Suburban, which was parked on W 25th Street.

According to the New York Daily News, the Suburban was shot up, shattering the darkly tinted windows and the passenger side. NYPD has decided to treat the case as a homicide. A police source told the paper, “Whoever did the shooting did it from far away and had no way of knowing there was no one in the truck,” the source said. “No one could have survived if there was someone in the passenger seat.” This is the second shooting in front of Violator Offices.

On January 16th, suspects took the elevator to the front reception area of the Violator and shot at least six bullets. Luckily both times no one has been injured. Police believe the cause of this violence is due to the rap game.
