Hip-Hop has officially landed on the television network UPN! On April 15th at 9:00 pm, UPN will debut its new hip-hop drama television show titled “Platinum”. The show is starring Sticky Fingaz of the rap group Onyx, Jason George, Steven Pasquale,Davetta Sherwood and Lalanya Masters.
“Platinum will tell the story of two brothers, Jackson (Jason George) and Grady (Sticky Fingaz) Ellis, who grow from rags to riches and become successful music moguls who encounter many triumphs and battles during their life in the hip-hop game. The television show will be shot all through New York City in many different locations. The television show will be cross promoted with MTV by showing new music videos from the television series on MTV. Platinum was created by Sofia Coppola, Francis Ford Coppola and Maira Surio and produced by American Zoetrope Television and The Greenblatt Janollari Studio.
